The ALKARE Foundation Orphan Ministry is a non-profit organization founded on February 25, 1989 as a memorial to KARLA AFMAN. Karla was the only girl in the family, growing up with 5 brothers. After entering a very promising career, her life was cut short and she was killed by a drunk driver. Karla was an inspiration to many of her young friends, inviting them to seek and know Jesus. This wonderful memory of her and the need to bring the Good News to the youth was the initiation of help and outreach services to kids in need.
THE LETTERS “ALKARE” INCORPORATE THE NAME OF KARLA, PRONOUNCED “ALL CARE”
