At the heart of compassion and faith stands Rock of Ages Children Rescue Center, a safe haven for children who have nowhere else to turn.

Founded and lovingly run by Ms. Dorcas Karimi, a woman of unwavering faith and extraordinary kindness, the rescue center began in the most humble way — by opening her own small home to abandoned, deserted, and orphaned children in need of love, safety, and hope.

Today, that small act of faith has grown into a home for over 30 children between the ages of 3 and 17 years. Every child who arrives at Rock of Ages carries a different story, yet they all find the same thing: acceptance, care, and family.

What makes this rescue center truly remarkable is its open-door mission. Rock of Ages has never turned away a child brought in by the police or local area chief. Whether abandoned, neglected, or left without family support, each child is welcomed with compassion and dignity.

The journey has not been easy, but through the Grace of God and the support of well-wishers, the children continue to receive shelter, education, meals, and love.

For over a year now, Alkare has faithfully stepped in to support the center through monthly food provision — a tremendous blessing that has brought relief, nourishment, and joy to the children and caregivers alike. Their generosity has made a meaningful difference in sustaining the home and ensuring the children are cared for consistently.

Yet, the need continues to grow.

Rock of Ages Children Rescue Center relies on the kindness of compassionate individuals, organizations, and partners willing to stand in the gap for vulnerable children. Every contribution — whether food, clothing, school supplies, medical support, or financial assistance — becomes part of a child’s story of hope and restoration.
